When should you travel if you want to get the best deal?

A typical topic of conversation is when should people travel in order to get the best deals.

Every destination will have a different answer, but the easiest solution is to travel during the off-peak or shoulder seasons – right before and right after peak season – is best. For example, Alaska is most popular in the summer, so trips in May or September might have the best deals, while still offering decent weather. Travelers heading to the Caribbean will find lower prices starting in May and lasting until November or December.

Peak travel times are often when kids are not in school, like summer, winter holidays and spring break, so look for deals at times when class is in session if possible.
