Ask a Local: Even Yelp and Google can’t beat the on-the-spot recommendations from the taxi drivers, bartenders and hotel staff you’ll meet during your travels.

Jot it down: Reminisce about your favorite places and write it down in a journal. You may want to consider a trip back to these spots someday.
