From the moment I arrived at Hard Rock Puerto Vallarta, I knew I was in for an epic vacation experience. This all-inclusive resort nestled along the beautiful beaches of Bahia de Banderas in Mexico's Riviera Nayarit marries the brand's signature rock-and-roll vibe with the laid-back feel of a beach getaway. Waitstaff is ready to greet guests in the lobby with a cocktail of their choosing.
DINING
The dining options were delicious. With several restaurants offering cuisines ranging from authentic Mexican to tantalizing Asian fusion, you won't go hungry. I recommend making a reservation at Zen for a taste of their sushi and spring rolls—it's an absolute must! For those looking for a more casual vibe, The Market buffet provides a vast selection of dishes sure to please any palate. One evening, we were serenaded by a Mariachi band at Frida, the Mexican restaurant. Speaking of the Mexican restaurant, I recommend ordering Mexican coffee at the end of your meal for an entertaining show and delicious drink.
ACCOMMODATIONS
Rooms at the Hard Rock are exactly what you'd expect from a property that prides itself on delivering star treatment. Equipped with plush bedding, modern amenities, and often featuring stunning ocean views, each room becomes a private sanctuary. I loved the little music-inspired touches, like the guitar imagery and rock memorabilia adorning the walls that make each stay unique. The shower was enormous and the layout of the room worked well. We had the privilege of staying on a ground floor room which allowed for easy and quick access to the pool.
ENTERTAINMENT AND ACTIVITIES
The soul of Hard Rock is, of course, its music. Live performances, theme nights, and a DJ keep the rhythm pumping day and night. However, if you want to create your own soundtrack, take advantage of their unique "Sound of Your Stay" program that allows guests to jam out on a Fender guitar in-room.
For those seeking relaxation, the Rock Spa® offers a variety of treatments that can soothe the soul and rejuvenate the body. The beachfront also has plenty of loungers and cabanas, perfect for soaking up the sun or enjoying a cocktail. I was particularly impressed with the attentive service from the staff, who ensured that my every need was met.
Families will appreciate the Roxity Kids Club™, which offer activities geared toward younger guests. Although this is a family-friendly property, there were hardly any children at the resort during our stay and there are not many ‘extra’ activities to keep children entertained so for that reason, I’d recommend this property more so for adults than families.

The staff members are truly the stars of this resort, going above and beyond to execute guest requests with enthusiasm and efficiency.
